Gennadiy Petrovich Bliznyuk (Belarusian: Генадзь Блізьнюк, Henadz Bliznyuk, Russian: Геннадий Близнюк; born 30 July 1980 in Svetlahorsk) is a Belarusian footballer (striker). As of 2011 he plays for Belshina Bobruisk .

Career

He began his career by FC Gomel 1999, joined 2004 to Russian club Sokol Saratov, plays here in the reserve and turned to end of the season in January 2005 back to Belarus and signed a contract by FC BATE. He left FC BATE on 13 January 2009 and signed a six month contract with FSV Frankfurt.[1]

He is also a member of Belarus national football team.
